That's exactly what you get when a couple from Louisiana comes to the mountains
for their wedding on Fat Tuesday with that wonderful Mardi Gras style. Clarisse
and Kevin had no idea so many of their family and friends would make the trip
to Breckenridge for their wedding day, yet their guests came to celebrate this
truly amazing couple.
The ceremony was held outside on the deck at the lodge with
that one-of-a-kind view as their backdrop to exchange their vows. One of the
sweetest moments from their ceremony happened as Clarisse and her Dad started
their walk down the aisle and they both were overcome with emotion. Luckily Dad
saved the day with a handkerchief in his pocket, and after they both wiped away
tears of joy, they proceeded the rest of the way down the aisle, where Kevin
was waiting to see his bride.
The dance floor was hopping all night, with some Cajun music
mixed in, Mardi Gras beads for all their guests, and a traditional second line
to end the night with all of their guests. This tradition signifies the start
of a new beginning of life for the bride and groom.
