Nicole & Toby were married at the lovely Deer Creek Valley Ranch, with a touching ceremony outdoors on the gazebo. Their reception included rustic elegant elements including beautiful wooden centerpieces and romantic candles and flowers from Nature's Palate Floral. The night was a true celebration with dancing and partying and you could tell that Nicole and Toby were surrounded by a loving and wonderful group of family and friends.
I had the honor of producing Holly & David's wedding film at Keystone Resort this spring. The peaks were still snow covered and they were even blessed with a little rain/snow mix that day. But nothing could stand in the way of these two having a beautiful and touching ceremony outside on top of the mountain, led by the talented Leon Joseph Littlebird. Once the ceremony concluded guests rode another gondola over to the cozy and inviting Alpenglow Stube for dinner and dancing.
As I began working on editing Holly and David's highlight video, I got a message from Holly that they just found out that she and David were pregnant and wanted to use the video to announce the news to their family and friends. Well, I was so on board! She sent me their most recent ultrasound pic and we worked in a few sound bytes from their wedding party wishing them well and hopes for lots of kids to come. The result was a great surprise to their loved ones and a first for me - I was so happy to be a part of this wonderful news!

Taryn & Ryan came to the mountains from Cajun country of Baton Rouge, LA for their winter wedding celebration at Warren Station in Keystone. Bringing in some of their southern traditions, like a cake pull for the bride's friends, playing some swamp pop for their guests to dance to and incorporating elements from their beloved LSU Tigers throughout the day, Taryn & Ryan definitely made this event their own. The talented Pink Paisley Events put together a design that was a perfect mix of southern charm and mountain elegance. From the florals by Petal & Bean to the chair covers and perfectly styled tables, different shades of pink and greys brought this look together flawlessly. The team at Hampton Entertainment kept the dance floor going strong throughout the night and even a dusting of snow couldn't cool off his party.
Kelly & Matt's Keystone wedding at the mountaintop venue of Timber Ridge was a night filled with surprises. Kelly surprised her groom with a special groom's cake that honored Matt's beloved NY Jets. The couple also surprised their guests with a choreographed "remix" of their first dance. After taking their traditional first dance steps, Matt quickly threw off his jacket, Kelly raised her hands in the air and they broke into some modern moves including the bride bravely doing the splits and the groom confidently flexing his muscles for Kelly. Needless to say, the crowd loved it and Matt came up to me just afterwords to make sure we got it all on video so that he'd never have to do that again! Yes, Matt we got it.
Later in the evening, to the surprise of the happy couple, all the guests led by the bridal party broke into a surprise flash mob on the dance floor. The guests had been sent an online video prior to the wedding to learn and practice the choreographed dance moves - and it was pulled off impeccably. My favorite moment was when Kelly realized that her Dad was even on the dance floor shaking it. The look of joy and amazement on the bride and groom's faces said it all.

Amanda & John hosted a beautiful ceremony and reception at the
lovely Crooked Willow Farms. This venue was simply spectacular. It's a
1920's barn and horse arena that's been converted into a spectacular
special events property. We at Elegant Productions love to shoot weddings where all the events
of the day can be done at one spot. Crooked Willow Farms offered them a
beautiful bridal suite, a designated groom's area, a gorgeous outdoor
ceremony site with a great view of the surrounding mountains, a
courtyard for cocktail hour, a beautiful rustic elegant ballroom space
for the reception, and endless possibilities for photo opportunities on
all of the surrounding grounds - all in one place.
Amanda & John were one of the sweetest couples to work with.
They both had smiles the entire day and were surrounded by an amazing
group of friends and family to celebrate the day. As if the venue
wasn't amazing enough, the ever so talented Ashley Nicole Events styled
and designed this wedding from top to bottom for a show stopping wedding
design. Every last detail was perfect, from the flowers to the place
settings, the table runners and chairs, the cake, the ceremony decor -
it was all put together perfectly.
