Dara Lynne & Nathan chose the gorgeous Lodge at Breckenridge for their wedding festivities. The Lodge is nestled at the top of Breckenridge, just east of town with views from every corner. You can't go wrong choosing a wedding venue that looks out towards the Breckenridge Ski Resort, with the surrounding mountains as a backdrop for your mountain wedding ceremony. The Lodge is wonderful for many reasons but I love the fact that the couple and the whole wedding party can get ready right on location, take photos on-site or nearby, and have amazing locations for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception events all right next to one another.
This early October wedding brought with it some lovely, soft snowflakes and cooler temperatures, but the bride came prepared with a beautiful faux fur wrap to keep her warm. Although her groom made sure she was nice and toasty as well! The love between these two was evident in how they looked at one another as well as the words they shared together during their personalized vow exchange on the deck at the Lodge. Tears of joy were shed and their emotions shined through - which is exactly what we love to capture on the wedding day!
The details of the day were handled by Petal and Bean with beautiful floral accents inside and out at the Lodge, as well as lovely flower crowns for the bride and her bridesmaids. Another stunning cake creation from the amazing Katy Pierson Cake at the reception kept the guests happy as they continued to party and dance throughout the evening.
