Liz & Ryan hosted an intimate wedding celebration in lovely Beaver Creek at the Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa. I shoot weddings of all shapes and sizes - from large weddings of 200-300 people to small elopements with just the bride and groom. You can make your wedding anything you want it to be and this couple did just that. Only their very closest family and friends were in attendance to this destination wedding in Colorado, yet they still hosted a true party and celebration for their wedding day. I have found that guests love to plan a special trip/vacation of their own around the couple's event. They are always so excited to get to come somewhere unique that they maybe wouldn't have had the opportunity to otherwise.
Liz and Ryan's wedding ceremony took place on the lovely lawn area just behind the Westin, with the sounds of the river and views of the mountains surrounding the scene. The Westin is a perfect destination location for a wedding because it provides the lodging accommodations, the ceremony site, and reception venue all in one. Liz had her hair and makeup done at the Spa Anjali right on site and then got into her stunning wedding dress in her suite along with the help of her bridesmaids. After the ceremony, their reception included dinner, dancing, cake, cocktails, and many memories to be made.
